Vicar's Message
"May the God of hope fill us with joy" (Rom. 15:13)
Dear Melbourne Mar Thoma Church Family members, greetings in the name of our
Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Moments of Faith
As we enter May, we're thrilled to join you as your new Vicar. May this season draw
us closer to God and each other. Let's cherish moments with loved ones and
prioritize our relationship with Him.
Message of Hope in Struggles
We acknowledge our diverse backgrounds and journeys. Our faith has been a
source of strength and comfort. Let's celebrate our diversity and unity in Christ,
finding spiritual nourishment and joy in our church activities.
Making Connections
As a multicultural community, we can build bridges between cultures and
backgrounds by bringing people together through acts of kindness, compassion, and
love. By embracing our diversity and celebrating our differences, we can foster a
sense of belonging and connection among all members, reflecting God's love and
kindness to those around us.
Monthly Theme
Our worship themes promise to enrich our spiritual journey. On the first Sunday, we'll
meditate on 'Jesus Christ Who Restores to the Rightful Place,' reflecting on God's
restorative power. The second Sunday's theme, 'The Commission of the Risen Lord:
The Shepherding of the People of God,' guides us to realize our call and
commission. On the third Sunday, we'll explore 'Jesus Christ is Co-Traveller,'
discovering God's presence in daily life. Finally, on the fifth Sunday, we'll celebrate
DSM&C Sunday with 'Divine Music that Rejuvenates Life,' highlighting music's
importance in worship.
Members Welcome
We welcome Sandra Thomas, Rahul Devarshi, Olivia Jose, Vanessa Jose, M.C.
John, and Sosamma John. May God bless them as they join our community. Kindly
uphold them in our prayers.
Messages of Appreciation
We thank Shojiachen and his family for their dedication and service. We pray God's
blessings upon them.
May Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, guide us to deepen our faith, cultivate gratitude, and share
Your love.
We will arrive on May 7th night at 8:30 at the airport. Kindly pray for our journey.
We're excited to journey with you, building a stronger community. May God's
goodness and love guide us.
Warm regards,
Philipachen.
