Great Lent is a journey of reflection and growth. We\'ve walked with Jesus, explored his life, and now Passion Week\'s here – a time to dive...
Anchor our Life
Romans 8:28, And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. We have been through the fire, and to acknowledge the pain. Jesus knows it too – he walked the hard road, felt the weight, and came out victorious. This Easter, let that be our anchor, our reminder that suffering isn\'t the end. There\'s hope, there\'s light, and there\'s resurrection. In the midst of pain, it\'s hard to see the bigger picture. But God promises that he\'s working all things for good. Not just the good times, not just the easy stuff – all things. The hard stuff, the messy stuff, the stuff that makes us wonder, he\'s weaving it into a story of hope. By anchoring ourselves in Jesus\' love and promise. By reminding ourselves that we\'re not alone, we\'re part of a community that lifts each other up.
Alongside Jesus
Passion Week is a time for us to reflect on Jesus\' journey to the cross, His sacrifice, and ultimate victory over death. It also promotes hope through his resurrection. Our church arranges a meaningful celebration, and we invite you to join. During Passion Week, we\'ll be diving into the heart of our faith, exploring the love and mercy of God. It\'s a chance to prepare ourselves before the Lord, to reflect on our lives, and to renew our commitment to following Jesus. We encourage everyone to participate in the services and activities planned for Passion Week. Let\'s come together as a community to worship, pray, and grow in our understanding of God\'s love. Your presence matters, and we\'d love to have you with us. Let\'s make this Passion Week a powerful experience as we journey with Jesus through His passion and resurrection.
Amazing Grace & Games
We\'re stoked to kick off VBS on April 9th – 11th; it\'s going to be a memorable three days. VBS is a fantastic chance for our kids to dive into God\'s word, make new friends, and grow in their faith. Our amazing team has lined up a bunch of fun activities, games, and lessons that\'ll help our children learn more about Jesus and become more confident in their walk with Him. We\'d love to see you all there with kids! It\'s a great opportunity for them to connect with our Church and build a strong foundation in Christ. Kindly uphold the VBS team and its arrangements in prayers.
Ablaze with Inspiration
It\'s time to mark our calendars. Our parish convention is just around the corner, happening from May 1st to 3rd. Rev. Dr George Varughese will lead all sessions and celebrate the Holy Qurbana on the final day. This is a great opportunity to dive deeper into God\'s word, connect with our community, and grow in our faith. Rev. Dr George Varughese is an incredible speaker and a counsellor. And we\'re looking forward to being inspired by his speeches. It\'s a chance to recharge, reflect, and be filled with the word of God.
Acknowledgement
Our Sabha Prathinithi Mandalam and Zonal Assembly election arrangements went smoothly. Thanks to everyone who came out to vote and made it a smooth process. Rexi Ninan has been elected as our Sabha Prathinithi Mandalam representative, and Johnson K. Varughese, Manju Ann Pramode, and Prinu John Philip will serve as Zonal representatives. Thank you to all who participated and cooperated. Congratulations to our newly elected members. May God empower you with wisdom, strength, and guidance as you work towards the betterment of our church and the kingdom of God.
Action Required
A quick reminder that our monthly subscriptions, offertory, self-denial, and Recessa contributions are what make our community live. Our generosity lets us spread love, support those in need, and keep our mission alive. As we kick off April, let\'s keep giving wholeheartedly and be a blessing to others. Please keep the subscriptions and contributions up to date – it really helps us plan and serve better. \'I can do all this through him who gives me strength\' (Philippians 4:13) and keep fixing our eyes on Jesus.
Let\'s step into April with hearts full of joy and spirits renewed. May God\'s presence surround us, His love uplift us, and His strength carry us through all we do.
