    1. The Lord said to Moses, “See, I have made you like God to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron shall be your prophet.

    2. You shall speak all that I command you, and your brother Aaron shall tell Pharaoh to let the Israelites go out of his land.

    3. But I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and I will multiply my signs and wonders in the land of Egypt.

    4. When Pharaoh does not listen to you, I will lay my hand upon Egypt and bring my people the Israelites, company by company, out of the land of Egypt by great acts of judgment.

    5. The Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I stretch out my hand against Egypt and bring the Israelites out from among them.”

    6. Moses and Aaron did so; they did just as the Lord commanded them.

    7. Moses was eighty years old and Aaron eighty-three when they spoke to Pharaoh. Aaron’s Miraculous Rod

    26. When he had come to Jerusalem, he attempted to join the disciples; and they were all afraid of him, for they did not believe that he was a disciple.

    27. But Barnabas took him, brought him to the apostles, and described for them how on the road he had seen the Lord, who had spoken to him, and how in Damascus he had spoken boldly in the name of Jesus.

    28. So he went in and out among them in Jerusalem, speaking boldly in the name of the Lord.

    29. He spoke and argued with the Hellenists; but they were attempting to kill him.

    30. When the believers learned of it, they brought him down to Caesarea and sent him off to Tarsus.

    31. Meanwhile the church throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and was built up. Living in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it increased in numbers. The Healing of Aeneas

    5. May the God of steadfastness and encouragement grant you to live in harmony with one another, in accordance with Christ Jesus,

    6. so that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

    7. Welcome one another, therefore, just as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.

    8. For I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the circumcised on behalf of the truth of God in order that he might confirm the promises given to the ancestors

    9. and that the gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written, “Therefore I will confess you among the gentiles and sing praises to your name”;

    39. In those days Mary set out and went with haste to a Judean town in the hill country,

    40. where she entered the house of Zechariah and greeted Elizabeth.

    41. When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the child leapt in her womb. And Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit

    42. and exclaimed with a loud cry, ‘Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb.

    43. And why has this happened to me, that the mother of my Lord comes to me?

    44. For as soon as I heard the sound of your greeting, the child in my womb leapt for joy.

    45. And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfilment of what was spoken to her by the Lord.’
